Truth is every build is different and depends a lot on size, details, and supply chains. Most of our projects are delivered to their owner in 6-12 months. Earlier selections and no changes means a faster build, more changes as we go and indecisiveness can lead to delays. We will do everything in our power to get you moved into your home on time or early. We hate delays and know how exciting it is to get to move into your new house!
Every project we build is covered by several layers of protection. Each job begins with builder’s risk insurance, which covers unforeseen catastrophes such as tornado, fire, and wind. As a company, we also carry general liability insurance, so should anything ever happen, you and your home are covered. And after you move in, we still have your back: you will receive an express warranty structured in a 1-3-5 year format, covering different components of your new home.
This may seem personal, but it’s important! Builders structure their pay in many ways, some hidden and others more open. Our pay is based on a percentage of the construction cost, typically ranging 10-20%. This is a fixed cost assigned at the proposal stage of our process. After this the only thing that changes that number is a substantial change order or added scope of the project. This removes any uncertainty about what we earn or impure motive to make you spend more.
This is YOUR house and that’s exciting! Ask for as many updates as you want, sometimes there will be big changes other times it may seem like nothing is happening; but I promise we are always working. Of course, this should go without saying but you are more than welcome to walk the jobsite at anytime and ask questions as you go!

Founded in 2024 by Hudson White, with a focus on custom homes.
Hudson founded W13 in 2024 after learning residential construction hands-on alongside Jeff Finn of Finn Construction Group, on projects from duplexes to luxury homes. His first independent home was built in Bryan, Texas, while he was finishing his degree at Texas A&M.
A Glen Rose High School graduate, he is a proud local returning to the community that has always meant so much to him.

Whether the plans are ready for construction or just becoming a thought we are ready to help. Through building multiple homes we have learned what is needed, what is not, and what is skipped. Our goal is to walk through your plans with you and provide suggestions on what might need to be considered. Nothing we say is mandatory, of course, we just want to cover all the bases. If plans are just starting then we’d love to help you design, as well as recommend architects that can be trusted. Great plans lead to a great home!

Engineering sounds scary and expensive; but also important. Truth is it’s worth every penny; every house we build will have and has had engineering done on it. This ensures the home we create is going to protect everyone it touches. Some areas are required, others are a step above to make sure every corner of the house is perfect. We want to make sure your house is built beautifully and durably this helps us ensure that!
Competitive bids from trusted trade partners, with guidance on finishes and allowances.
The fun really starts here. We get to dream together and start putting your ideas on paper. Selections at this stage ensure everything is ordered on time and the home is move-in ready right when we said it would be. “But what if I don’t know what color walls or tile I want yet?” That’s not a problem! At this stage we can set allowances and come back to it later; of course the sooner the better, but always take your time to make sure every detail is just how you want it. Once selections are made or allowances crafted, we get to work on our end gathering estimates and building your personal price.
A comprehensive proposal: the vision, the investment, the schedule, the details.
Now you get to see it all come together, every selection accounted for and price mentioned. You can expect a clean sheet or file showing the cost of every decision as well as what exactly is going into your house. Our goal is no questions left at this point, if you have them ask! We want it to be ultra clear what, when, and how we plan to build your perfect home.
Scope and expectations aligned, and the agreement finalized.
Boring… I know, I know. This key point puts everything in writing and makes sure to protect you. Our contract will state exactly what we are going to do for you, a great quote we live by is “to be clear is to be kind” that’s exactly what a formal written agreement will do for everyone involved. Up until this point you can walk away and not let us build your house, we would be sad to miss out but still excited for you and your next chapter! Once this is signed we are in it together and we could not be more thrilled!
From groundbreaking to final walkthrough, we oversee every detail and keep you informed.
Let’s get this thing going! Finally! This is where we really shine, all the planning comes together to give you your dream abode. Every project is different with its own challenges, that’s what makes this fun. We WILL build your house with no corners cut and even above your own standards.

Can’t get rid of us that easily. Just because you move in does not mean we are gone. Need help with something? Break something moving furniture? Put a hole in the wall? Let us know! When you build with us you become family, in my family we take care of each other. The warranty will express what all is specifically covered, but honestly we are here to help no matter what a piece of paper says.
